The homeowners purchased this home because of its location and the much-needed space for their young family. With all that came a dated interior and many daunting design challenges. The primary difficulty in the space was the massive two-story windowless wall that looked strikingly empty. We started with freshening up the paint and brought in some millwork to add interest to the problem wall. We updated the fireplace and sourced timeless furnishings that were high-low to conserve budget and allow for some flexibility with little ones. The result is livable luxury with contrasting tones and a truly classic feel.
